FASHION FORECAST: MOUNTIE HATS

Smokey bear step aside, there are some new sheriffs in town! What's poppin' y'all & welcome back to STYLD 101. I felt a breeze coming in the fashion industry & these hats are to blame. Mountie hats are on the rise to becoming the next trend and I am not mad at it!

A mountie hat, also known as a campaign hat, is a broad-brimmed felt or straw hat, with a high crown, pinched symmetrically at the four corners.

The hat is most commonly worn as part of a uniform, by such organizations as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, New Zealand Army, United States Park Rangers, and Scouts but they are now making their way onto the fashion scene
